EXCUSE ME?!!
Who ever got up in front of council and used profanity?!!
I think they are copying this blog.
Too bad they don't use the city website to inform citizens about the audit release.
I had a flier mailed to me and appreciate the efforts of this blog. Way to go!
Where can I contribute?
Thank you very much!!

Hopefully there is nothing incriminating.
Guess we will have to wait and see...

The City website a propaganda tool!

The best interests of the citizens have nothing to do with what is posted online!

The city hall sign is a joke, too!

Welcome to Centerville, land of the happy sleeping majority!

The roads we have been forced to pay for are still ripped up but we have bike trails and thousands of dollars wasted on fireworks blown off during a tornado warning!
Who makes these judgment calls?

Go Mary Capra!

Why is there still unnecessary spending going on when we are so indebt? Do we really need a fountain with sitting area and landscaping at this time?

Let's pay off our debt. There should be a freeze on salaries like other cities are doing.

Nine month review of what?
Thank you to the residents that have worked so hard for transparency in our government.
Too bad our government workers don't work as hard.

so what's the verdict?

Disappointing results, but not all was for nothing!! I did find it curious that Mr. Glaser was able to rattle off a MN Statute reference cite regarding the city's meeting minutes, etc. It looked as though he had an opportunity to view the report before it was released!! That does not seem proper!! Why was a public document, that was requested by the people, released to City Council before the petitioners? !! Once again it appears our beloved (and I use this term loosely)City Officials were able to circumvent proper procedures!!

That's our government at its best - once again!

The council was allowed to see the audit at the same time it was released to the lead petitioners.... who also had access to the audit at 4 pm on Wednesday. It then became public information at 6:30 pm as it was presented in council chambers.

Well that explains why 1/2 of the Council looked as if they were going to fall asleep and why Mr. Lee wanted to "recap" what had just taken an hour to read!
