This is the exact reason I log on here instead of the city website.
The city website and the city hall sign are just propaganda tools for the current regime, in my humble opinion.
Why does the city hall sign not SCREAM council seat vacancy?!

We have lived in this town 14 years. The City has continually used their - NO! - OUR sign to promote vacancies on P&Z and Council. Why are they not doing the same now?

The council minutes have not been posted online, a week later?
What a shock!
Didn't the administrator and city attorney argue with the state auditors about this very issue?
I believe the audit called them out on this.
The audit also suggested that the city review the hours worked by the administrator and finance director.
This is not likely to happen until we have new faces up at city hall.
In the infamous words of Jeff Paar to "bring it one", we will!
2010 will be the citizens year and the financial bleeding will come to an end.

In towns of similar size, the City Administrator IS the finance director. Why are we paying two separate salaries?
Combining these jobs would save us about $100,000 a year (almost enough money for that dedicated road maintenance fund we STILL don't have).
Mike Jeziorski for City Administrator!! From what I've seen, he is definitely up to the challenge and doing a far better job than the last guy.
Thanks, Mike!

Good point, Julie! If you include benefits the savings would be far over 100K.
Plenty of cash for the roads each year!

There are many senior citizens in town that do not have access to the internet.
Utilizing the City Hall sign would be a benefit for these residents and it is FREE!
