Regarding Cannon Falls History Repeating Itself in Centerville

A blast from the past...
One resident in the know understands how City government works, or doesn't.

There are two residents on Old Mill Road (10 acre parcels) that have been assessed $90,000 each for "best use of land" and "potential value" while Linda Broussard-Vickers sitting council member (80 some acres) has been assessed NOTHING!
Meanwhile, these property values have dropped dramatically!

The Anoka County court cases are still being litigated

Another resident on Peltier Lake Drive being assessed over $10,000 had the case thrown out on a technicality... Filing the wrong paperwork!

Is there is a reason that the State audit has not been revealed?
Could Cannon Falls history be repeating itself here in Centerville?

If the State has "something", they had better hurry up before more damage is done to these innocent citizens!

I thought corruption was big in Washington... You've seen nothing until follow the garbage that goes on here!!

The sad thing is, there are no "checks and blances" to protect the residents from cities actions.

The City uses your tax dollars to fight you in court!! Isn't that just great!!...That's AMERICA, land of the Crooked & Greedy!!

why should Vickers be assessed for a project that doesn't affect her? She lives on a COUNTY ROAD not a CITY ROAD - water & sewer do not run by her house.

WHATEVER!
Looks like anonymous @ 1 pm is either Vickers or a council member.

Is there a reason the largest land owner in Centerville (who happens to be sitting on council) has not been assessed for best use of land?

Maybe Donna Germain should run for a seat and her assessments can be forgiven!

DISGUSTING!!!

I guess if you live on a "county" road, the rules of the "city" don't apply to you?
How convenient!
BTW... Sewer and water DO run by the north side of her (Vickers) property. The parcel that was sold for development definitely has it.
Was she assessed? Good question for the blog to uncover.

That development is called Pheasant Marsh. Its a very good question???
